Awareness Campaign by Mulund Rationing Vigilance Committee for Ration card Holders

A campaign was organized by Vigilance Committee of Mulund Rationing Office 35E to generate awareness amongst residents of Mulund about linking Ration Cards with Aadhar Card and also provide Bank Details, Mobile Number & Gas Details so that new computerized smart ration cards can be provided to consumers. More than 5000 forms were distributed at to residents at this drive organized on Thursday 27^th August 2015 outside Mulund West Railway Station. Chairman of Mulund Ration Vigilance Committee & MLA Sardar Tara Singh, Vigilance Committee Member Rajesh Ingle & Shailesh Bhanushali conducted the awareness drive along with Mulund Ration Officer Mrs. Sonali Dhandardekar. Also present were staff members and officers of the Mulund ration office.

मुलुंडच्या नागरिकांमध्ये शिधावाटप पत्रिकेस आधार कार्ड जोडून सोबत बँक बद्दल माहिती, मोबाईल क्रमांक, व गॅस बद्दल माहिती पुरवण्या बाबत जागरूक करण्याच्या हेतूने मुलुंड शिधावाटप कार्यालय ३५ ई च्या दक्षता समिती द्वारे गुरुवार २७ ऑगस्ट २०१५ रोजी मुलुंड पश्चिम रेल्वे स्थानकाबाहेर जागरुकता मोहिमेचे आयोजन करण्यात आले. ह्या प्रक्रियेत नागरिकांनी तत्परतेने सहभागी झाल्यास ग्राहकांना नवीन संगणीकृत स्मार्ट शिधापत्रिका लवकर प्राप्त होण्यास मदत होईल ह्या हेतूने सदर प्रसंगी नागरिकांमध्ये सुमारे ५००० फॉर्म्स चे वाटप करण्यात आले. दक्षता समिती अध्यक्ष व आमदार सरदार तारा सिंग, दक्षता समिती सदस्य राजेश इंगळे, व शैलेश भानुशाली यांच्यासह मुलुंड शिधावाटप अधिकारी श्रीमती सोनाली धांदरडेकर ह्यांनी सदर मोहिमेचे यशस्वी नियोजन केले. शिधावाटप कार्यालयीन अधिकारी व कर्मचारी देखील ह्या मोहिमेत मोठ्या संख्येत सहभागी झाले.

Peace march

6th August Let's get together and join hands for the peace rally on this world peace day

The Peace march is jointly organized by Bombay Sarvodaya Mandal and NSS Units of SNDT & Mumbai University to mark the 70th anniversary of the devastation of Hiroshima & Nagasaki with a deadly atomic attack by America during World War II & to join hands with millions of people of the world in their prayers to make a nuclear-free world.

The devastation had such an effect that one lakh sixty thousand people were killedin the bombing leaving several thousand crippled. The after effects of the bombing and radiation claimed over three lakh lives over the years.

The Peace Rally will be lead by students, graphically depicting the horror of the atom bomb and carrying a huge banner depicting slogans like ‘NO MORE HIROSHIMA' and ‘We want to grow, not to blow up.' NSS Volunteers from various colleges were also carrying placards and banners depicting slogans like ‘NO-BOMB, YES-PEACE', and "SAVE MOTHER EARTH".

The Peace rally starts at sharp 3pm from Azad Maidan and concluded at Hutatma Chowk at 3:30 pm, where a Pledge will taken to work for peace & a nuclear-free world.
